conduct a large sale of T.E. Lawrence material, consisting of the collection of
Stuart Eisen
(noted in
Phil O’Brien’s Bibliography) and the inventory of Denis McDonnell. Included
will be a 2 Volume 1936 Golden Cockerel Crusader Castles,
a 1935 Jonathan Cape Limited Edition Seven
Pillars of Wisdom, a collection of First Edition Foreign Language Lawrence
titles including
Revolt in the Desert, Seven Pillars of Wisdom, The
Mint,
Signed First Editions, and many rare items.

A personal note from
the McDonnell family…..We lost Denis on October 10, 2006. He was a good, honest
man who loved his book business and all the folks he dealt with over the years.
You were his kindred spirits and he relished his conversations with you, both
over the phone and via email. His wife and daughter wish to express their
deepest gratitude for all the kindness extended to us from the Lawrence and
book communities. We’d like to think that Denis has met up with TE and they’re
